Chlidonias 16 Jul 2008 its a darter (aka snakebird, or anhinga), not a cormorant. They do look similar though and are related.

snowleopard 16 Jul 2008 I actually knew it was a darter, but I had assumed that it was a species of cormorant. I love how they spread their wings to dry them off in the sun.
