I believe it is Bristol Zoo who have in their Aquarium a sign saying "Are you afraid of your toaster?" next to their shark exhibition illustrating the fact that toasters kill more people than sharks on a yearly basis.
If snakes want to live up to their lethal reputations then they better start working harder.
The numbers above suggest that if snakes learn to drive and starting selling drugs they would probably take out a lot more people than just by biting them.
