We really need a ZooChatter to visit Assiniboine Park Zoo to photograph the award-winning Journey to Churchill complex. A zoo enthusiast friend just visited recently and sadly his camera was broken and he was not able to take any pictures. However, he has likely visited at least 100+ zoos and he declared the exhibit to be amongst the top 5 that he's ever seen in his lifetime. Judging from the zoo's website it seems as if there are a LOT of bears at the zoo (9 of them!) and so I'm intrigued as to how they are all managed and rotated through the various exhibits. The bears can be viewed through many angles and windows, including the brand-new restaurant. There is also an Interpretative Centre and even a polar bear themed playground.
