The newly opened desert house, former hippo house, features Atlas agama, Eye-dab lizard, Ornate mastigure, Helmethead gecko, Pristurus gecko (scorpiontail) Egyptian tortoise, Red rock thrush, Short-eared elephant shrew, Fat sand rat, Golden-silk orb spiders and as the star species: Dung beetle.
