@Veno Yes and no. The species is extirpated throughout most of its former range so any recent wild-caught would be impossible. While the dhole used to be an ABC species in Chinese zoos, their number declined significantly since the 2010s that by the end of that decade, there're only a few individuals left. Then in 2019, the Zhongnan Baicaoyuan Zoo in Anji, Zhejiang imported a pack from Europe. With contributions of the Anji pack, dholes are making a comeback in Chinese zoos in the past few years. Given most of the European population are the descendents of the Moscow pair caught in Qinghai in the 1950s, in this sense these dholes are indeed "northern dholes".
