November 2013. This daily keeper talk features a Tree Pangolin. His name is Baba and he is the only pangolin of any species in the Western Hemisphere. He has been at the zoo for 8 years, and had a female companion for 6 of those years.

Unless I'm missing something Leipzig has 1.1 Chinese pangolin? On another note, does the pangolin feature every day or is it pot luck, would love to see him if we get over
Leipzig is in the Western world, but being further east than the Greenwich Meridian is not one of the European locations in the actual Western Hemisphere. So it really depends on your classification of "Western Hemisphere"
And I believe Leipzig still have their pangolins..... they better do, I plan to visit along with the Berlins in 2014.
Javan Rhino, I suppose I should have said 'in the Americas'! The zoo map had a Keeper Talk schedule and the Pangolin Presentation was listed as being a daily event.
