The Nature Discovery Center is a large complex in the Dogwood Park Zoo's Carolina Trail exhibit region. It showcases smaller species native to North Carolina from the mountains to the coastal plain while themed displays interpret natural history and ongoing conservation efforts. Other features include a glass tunnel under the gamefish aquarium, propagation lab for freshwater mussels, a classroom for educational programs, and a large walkthrough beaver pond aviary displaying waterfowl and songbirds.

Please let me know what you think and of any suggestions. I am thinking of adding a Bobcat habitat separate from the nature center along the boardwalk between the entrance and exit.

I've decided that the Longear Sunfish (Lepomis megalotis) in the Gamefish Aquarium (labeled 4) will be replaced by Yellow Perch (Perca flavescens).
