Computer problems every time I clicked the upload/proceed button an internet connection problem occurred, so I paged back and tried again (a few times!!). Then when it finally worked all theses duplicates, I've asked the clever people in control to remove them for me so fingers crossed.....

This happens to me too - if instead of clicking 'back' you go back to the main page for the zoo gallery and go to 'upload new photo' again, you'll find all the ones that weren't process are still in the queue. If you click submit without selecting new images you'll be given the chance just to upload the ones that failed and you should have no duplicates.
