Perhaps if they allowed exotics into Australia their zoos wouldn't be reduced to showing domestics. I believe they have a few Canadas, which are discouraged for fear of escape & naturalisation, a few Egyptians, native species & domestics. All of these are ok, but a few Red-breasted, for example, would be nice. Just a wildfowl enthusiast's perspective, you understand. Nothing profound.
