This is the first thing you see upon entering the zoo and I don't think it makes the best first impression (though it may do for the non zoo-nerd). The moat wastes loads of space and the actual area for the animals is rather small and just sand.
It is home to Ankole Cattle, Domestic Reindeer, Dromedary Camels, Domestic Donkey and Alpacas.
