Bizarre indeed! Something you'd normally find in a Children's zoo area, not in splendid isolation like this.:D

That's part of what's odd - it's near the pathway to the children's zoo, but not part of it - it's a separate little pathway off one of the main central pathways (it's opposite the porcupines/secretary birds). Very curious little thing.

Perhaps it is where they store treats for the Secretary birds?
Is there a slot where you can drop in a Euro and get a couple of mice? :D
