A new exhibit area for large reptiles that I really like. It has a series of large indoor enclosures like this with an outdoor but covered walking path through the middle. Kind of a large U Shape, so this is the first section then you turn a bend just past where the people in this photo are for another section (that also has a few smaller reptile exhibits on one wall).
Since I know some of you are going to ask what species there are, here is the list (in no particular order):
sailfin dragon
bearded dragon, uromastyx (together)
alligator snapping turtle
veiled chameleon
dwarf crocodile
aldabra tortoise
green iguana
black tree monitor
green anaconda
crocodile monitor
spectacled caiman
reticulated python
saltwater crocodile
asian water monitor
american alligator (white)
rhinoceros iguana
gila monster
It is on the far west end of the zoo near the southwest corner, but not quite all the way to the corner. In other words, just north of the rhino (which is in the corner).
I will scan and upload the map in the gallery tonight.
