Could you provide some more information about this place Goura? Maybe start a thread in the Australia forum? I'm having trouble loading their website, so all I know is that entry seems reasonably priced for "Australia's Premier Bird Park." I'm not even sure where in Australia it is. WA somewhere? A species list would be great too.

It certainly seems like a decent collection from the photos, and those reviews do sound pretty positive.
It says they breed a lot of endangered parrots, but it looks like they sell a few parrots too, so are they actually involved in any conservation (as that's what breeding endangered parrots implies).

I will certainly do this in the next couple of days. I'm not too sure when it first opened but i do remember visiting it back in 1992 - I do know that it's for sale at around $4 million and has been on the market for about a year now.
As far as location is concerned, it is in a beach holiday town on the coast about 7 hours north of Perth which is situated on the Murchison River, the second largest river in Western Australia.
The geology of the area is particularly interesting and it is of great palaeontological interest as well with animal tracks of an arthropod named Kalbarria recorded from the Silurian around 440 million years ago. The coastline and the inland gorges are quite spectacular.
