Gannets!

(I've finally been having the spare time to resume converting all the images formerly attached to my Bavarian trip reports into gallery images, and embedding them into the respective posts, which is why all these unlabelled images are going up :p once I have done this, and cross-posted all my Alpenzoo posts into the main thread, I can finally resume posting new reports! Determined to at least get the Bavarian thread significantly closer to being finished before I go to Prague in mid-June......)

I've only seen gannets exhibited at Berlin, in a similar fashion to this. Frankly it almost seems like a waste of time, because the visitor will leave thinking they are basically a large sharp duck. I've seen them dive-fishing, at Noss no less, and if a zoo could replicate that experience even just a little it would be a very special exhibit indeed.
Does anywhere keep them unpinioned?
