The indoor exhibit for western lowland gorillas inside the Equatorium in Duisburg Zoo, Germany. Nicely furnished but too small for a group of gorillas. I am not sure what sort of space they have in the back but their outdoor exhibit is the absolutely fantastic Gorilla Bush.
The Equatorium opened in 1962 and was built to house animals from the equatorial rainforests. However, today it is used mainly as a primate house. Most of the monkeys and apes have separate exhibits inside the house but various free-ranging animals also live among the visitors.
