Only exhibit near the jubilee complex that is currently in use. Formerly home (at different times) to red pandas and Reeves's muntjac, Kirk's dik-diks and domestic rabbits.
@DelacoursLangur As I believe was recently mentioned in the thread, the zoo currently has a permit application running at the city of Antwerp for the new complex, which will include tiger and snow leopard exhibits, spectacled bear and spider monkey exhibits, a callitrichid and armadillo exhibit (which will go roughly where the exhibit above currently is), a jellyfish aquarium, a projection hall and a sea turtle/shark aquarium.
The new complex will replace the current jubilee complex, which will be almost entirely demolished, aside from some of the facades and the preservation of most of the large trees.
Their current plan, if the permit application is approved, is to start demolition towards the end of this year, which will take about four months, followed by about 2.5 years of construction for the new complex. So presumably the new complex will not be really until 2026.
PS: the last dusky pademelon has I believe since passed away, I believe that if this exhibit is still used its current inhabitant is a muntjac.
