Whereabouts is this one on show, Tim? And any other developments over the past few weeks?

To answer your questions “Sooty”:-

The pademelon is in the exhibit that housed one of the young cassowaries last year (i.e. the one that had a label for bear cuscus, spotted cuscus and brown dorcopsis).

This animal being on show is the most significant change since my visit in March.

I was told, though, that some other species, currently off-exhibit, will be on display within the next few weeks; consequently another visit before too long seems like a good idea.......

Tim - did you happen to see a Tarsier when you visited? The RSCC website is now indicating that they are *supposed* to be onshow

On my visit in March I was fortunate to be taken “behind the scenes” to see a tarsier but I didn’t see one on the day this photograph was taken.

It is excellent news if the tarsiers are now on show.

I believe a few of the species labelled on the website as "onshow" are not actually at present - for instance the Aardwolf, Dorcopsis and Flying Squirrel.

Are the squirrels off-show or off site?

Don't know for sure - they certainly had the taxon on-site at one point during their long closure, but not sure if they are now.
