The newly arrived Dwarf Snakehead (Channa limbata) at Tropiquaria. According to ZTL, Tropiquaria is one of just two public collections in Europe (along with Tierpark Bochum in Germany) where this species can be found.
Just noticed the fish in the background which is a Snakeskin Barb, another relatively new arrival and a major rarity in zoos. Probably entirely unintentional, but a clear snake theme in the names of this tank’s inhabitants.
