East African striped hyena exhibit, 2019-04-06

I have seen striped hyenas before, but not the subspecies kept at Zie-Zoo, the East African Striped hyena (Hyaena hyaena dubbah), and sadly the striped hyena turned out to one of the few major misses I had at Zie-Zoo as despite multiple passes it never showed itself.
