Male Eastern aardwolf (Proteles cristata septentrionalis) Harry yawning, showing the spatula-shaped sticky tongue, used to lick termites from the ground. Also note the quite large canines - perhaps unexpectedly large, considering the diet of this species. They are used in territorial disputes, and in defence against jackals and the like.
