@WhistlingKite24 The population is in even worse shape when you consider one of the females is non reproductive. With Australian zoos now able to import this species via New Zealand, I wish they’d take the initiative to do so again. Aside from the obvious benefit to the Australian population, I have no objections to this magnificent species gracing Wellington Zoo with its presence for a short period.
