i can't believe the only individual of this species in captivity is still alive.

@KevinB well, i heard that gorillas in this age are considered old like a grandparent, so she could be considered a granny or not.

@BetoYoung Amahoro has never had any offspring of her own, however she does regularly interact with the two young western lowland gorillas that she lives with.
