Edible Dormouse

do Brits eat dormice like song bird tidbits. Genetic throwbacks.

No; however the Romans did eat this particular species, Glis glis, hence the vernacular name.

And if you think Brits are genetic throwbacks, just imagine what that makes anyone descended from the Brits in a country which rebelled against their tea-drinking forefathers!

At least we know how to make iced tea. Seriously, what is the matter with you Brits? Whenever I am over there any café has ten or fifteen varieties of hot tea but not a glass of refreshing iced tea anywhere to be found! You know, iced tea is the ideal beverage for washing down herb roasted dormice! :p

"Genes! How do they work?!"[/QUOTE]

You put your feet in, one in each bottom hole, and then pull them up. A lot like trousers really. :D
