@gentle lemur Was up at a birding site right at the north edge of Notts last week and we had, on a single pond, a Grey Heron, two Great White Egrets, one Cattle Egret and half-a-dozen Little Egrets, including one unusual grey bird, looking for all the world like a White-faced Heron. Quite a display! All three of the egrets will be common before too long.
