One of North America's smallest elephant exhibits is also probably the absolute coldest area that keeps elephants. The forecast for the next two weeks is for daily freezing temperatures, meaning that the elephants will be locked in their barn for a seemingly endless amount of time. During the next 4 months the temperature in Calgary will rarely be above a few degrees Celsius, and there is already lots of snow in the region. Thank goodness the zoo is sending its elephants away!
