Elephant Odyssey 2009

Long view from the catwalk in the Elephant Care Center. From the E.O. opening 2009. This is a better long view than the other one I just posted.

I have lots of photos taken from the catwalk that I never posted. The view is amazing, as the whole set of exhibits can be seen from up there.

I really enjoyed seeing the whole exhibit from the catwalk. The photo doesn't do it justice.

I agree, only if the catwalk was open to the public it would be awesome...
We spent around an hour up there watching as keepers trained Rachinpur (sp?) in and out of the barn area right below us.

I'll be posting my photos as soon as I find them.

I've been up there too. It is quite a view! Though, the view of the right of the enclosure is much better than this. There's a lot less metal and the exhibit is larger on the right. I guess they can't keep it open to public because that would interfere with some of the medical work.

How does one get up to the catwalk?
