I love the tunnel idea, and the mud-banks look good...so why pollute it with heavy steel fencing, surely a more natural and attractive alternative could have been found, after all, this is the "best zoo in the world".

Artificial rock-work, spaced out boulders, using the mud bank, the viewers could view the elephants from above (not ideal but gives a good panoramic view), even if they made the supports look like tree trunks and the cables like vines it would look far better...
