African Plains- Elephant Skull. April 12, 2015. These are the actual skeletal remains of a bull African Bush Elephant killed by poachers in Kenya in 1983. The zoo brought the remains over and put them on display as a way to make visitors aware of the problem poaching has on wild elephant populations.
