Although not particularly big , I do think this is a fine Elephant Paddock . Good deep sand substrate , lots of different levels , plenty of tree trunks and an enormous pool . They had attempted to fix up a large camouflage net over several of the trees in the summer to provide shade but it had come undone .
I would love to see a new house built at the bottom of the second grass paddock - given a similar make-over - to house a bull . As things at Twycross are - both financially and policy-wise - this will not happen .
