old coupou cage
Again, with renovation-suitable for tamarins, perhaps? It doesn't look much smaller than other exibits I've seen for them anyway.

It could hold tamrins or marmosets, I think it held Ocelots at one point, rediculous.

It is just like all of the enclosures at Dartmoor: simple wire frames or grass fields with wooden fences. I've read Benjamin Mee's book and know all about the circumstances surrounding the zoo. But still...ugh.

To start with this enclosure held Coupou, there is a small tiled pool at the front of the enclosure which has now been filled in. It later held Asian Otters and various owl species over the years. It never held Ocelot? The Park only ever had one Ocelot and it was kept in the enclosure below the jaguars.

There was a Gyr Falcon in this enclosure in April this year - presumably a bird used for the falconry displays.
