Why is there a pond in front of the glass???

The pond is inside and outside the exhibit, so it seems you are in the same habitat as the leopards. Also noone touches the window

It is a nice touch. Could be better, but still, very nice. Could never do that in a US zoo. Kids would stand in the pool....people would push each other into it....parents would hate it...it would be full of spittle and trash

There is that "personal responsibility" thing again that we enjoy so much in Europe

Never saw someone in it and people respect in germany such thing

And it's the best enclosure for chinese leopards i know.
