enclosure for Dholes (Cuon alpinus)

The photo shows less than half of the enclosure front. There was another viewing area further along. This was a fantastic exhibit for the Dholes, being very long and deep, and filled with forest trees (it is open-topped, not a cage). Their previous cage was not anywhere near as good.

The signage said the exhibit was shared with Binturongs (Arctictis binturong), which I did not see - the zoo is also open at night which is when the Binturongs would be active. This is another mix I'm not comfortable with: a predator like Dholes in with smaller mammals.

At the time of devilfish's visits a few years ago, this enclosure was a "lowland rainforest" exhibit, with "civets, leopard cats, muntjac, binturong and two porcupine species".
