Enclosure for Fanaloka

Taken 3rd August 2015
The black curtain made proper viewing impossible :(.

However I was able to just about see through the small hole in the curtain and get this view:

Is this the only viewing area for the fanaloka? I'm heading down to Kent tomorrow for three days, and am visiting RSCC and Wingham while down there.

There is an additional area attached to this that you view through mesh but the Fanaloka was locked inside this small area on my visit.

The window above the curtain gives a way better view than the hole you took a photograph trough.. :D

On my visit last month the female and the recently born youngster were locked inside. The male and (I suppose) last year's young were both in the mesh enclosure.

I would never have thought to look through the window! :p

Of course I did look through the window, but the animal was right up next to the corner so I couldn't see it.
I spent a fair while looking in the mesh enclosure, but the animals must have been hiding.

You're right, the window is no use for photography either because it's apparently very reflecting, which is especially hard when using a camera.

However, with my mobile phone I was able to take a picture - more or less - of the newest youngster, but photography is indeed rather impossible.
