Baboon Reserve: Nubian Ibex herd. April 12, 2018. Only six animals remain in the zoo's herd. The amount of animals in this exhibit has really dwindled over the past several years, leaving the massive enclosure looking quite empty nowadays.
@Ebirah766 Couldn't agree more. These were a phase-out species for a long time, though I think they're being worked with properly now so hopefully Bronx will get more. Returning to my comment on the exhibit looking empty, the zoo has imported several Gelada from Europe so hopefully they'll continue building up the troop.
