At a lot of the Southeast Asian zoos I visited this year, I was struck by how many facilities had grandiose entrances. Huge animal statues and sculptures, signs using massive letters, flowerbed gardens arranged in a beatific manner, etc. This photo of a Chinese aquarium appears to follow that trend as the entrance archway is spectacular. There's some Asian zoos with fancy entrances that probably cost more than all of the animal exhibits!
