Based on this map the Eurasia wilds will take up almost all of the Eurasian loop, only leaving the dhole, old snow leopard, and Barbary ape exhibits to be transformed into a new Canadian area. How will the Canadian area have enough space to fit all of the species?
There won't be room. They will likely keep those animals if I'm not mistaken. Only space that I can think of that is available is the backside of the Americas to the back side of Africa (Behind the Giraffe Enclosure/near the zoomobile route) and down towards the collection of buildings and "pastures" that I'mm assuming are part of zoo property. They could move those down to the Canadian Domain and move the animals into that section.
I thought the barbary apes and dholes were on phase out? I could be wrong. I thought the plan was also to use that space or some of it at least for the very distant south america revamp. Even that space and knock down of the mayan temple wouldnt give a fraction of the space the domain has now.
TZFan you are right, both are phase out species, although the dholes are not certain still I don't think.
As for space, there is A LOT of space left in Eurasia, you just don't see it. It would go straight back to the Operations Complex, and into the swamp area in the Americas now. The next time you are at the zoo ride the zoomobile and look on both sides of you once you leave the Americas. It won't be as expansive as the domain is currently, but it'll be more friendly to guests.
