Eurasian Lynx Enclosure at Johnsons of Old Hurst (October 2023)

I didn’t see a sign or animals on or in this enclosure on my recent visit - is it actually occupied by a lynx at the moment? It’s an odd space!

@Lafone Now that you mention it, I didn't see a lynx or a sign for one either. I just assumed it was the lynx enclosure as they're still listed on their website.

@Mr.Weasel I should have asked while I was there, but I wasn't convinced there was anything in it.

@Lafone Assuming this is the enclosure connected to the same house as the Pumas, I saw enrichment being set up in it yesterday.

@Lafone Not sure I did, the only thing that crossed my mind was that maybe it was a secondary enclosure for the Puma, though possibly I was forgetting about the Lynx, but it could still make sense.

@Lafone @Rajang-GOAT I did some more digging and found this Facebook post which shows a lynx in what appears to be this enclosure: Log into Facebook

Whether or not they still have them is another story.

Seems a bit squat compared to other lynx spaces I’ve seen.
