Was it in a good condition for a mount?

Was in perfect condition, fresh and still soft.

So... mount, skeleton or wet-preserved? Skull intact?

None of them. I let in the same place. I was traveling to pass some days with a friend when I found the bird. Would be not good to put a dead bird in my friend's home for some days and that it start to stink!
