Eurasian Oystercatchers, adult and juvenile (Haematopus ostralegus), 2009-06-21

Photo was taken when Pairi Daiza was still called Parc Paradisio and though already not mostly bird park anymore, it was not nearly what it has now become. This species is still housed where it was then, in the cathedral aviary or giant walk-through aviary, though I didn't seen any in 2019 or 2020.
