Eurasian woodcock (Scolopax rusticola)

This Eurasian woodcock flew into a window at AquaZoo Leeuwarden's giant otter enclosure, then sat dazed for a while. The otters sniffed the bird for a while but then left it alone. The next time I walked past the enclosure, I did not see the bird anymore.

This was the first time I saw this species!
