European otter at the Otter Trust 1978

Lutra lutra lutra. The Trust was established by the late Phillip Wayre to breed native otters for release. There were also some exotic otters, deer and waterfowl in large natural looking pens at a beautiful site beside the River Waveney at Earsham, near Bungay, in Suffolk (now closed, as there is no need to breed and release more otters); 31st May 1978.
