It is rather a nice exhibit. It's not clear from this shot, but the back of the exhibit isn't glass but a fine gauze mesh, so the exhibit is open to the elements (appropriately for a native species). I guess there must be a shutter of some sort for if the weather gets really bad.
Given the time of year and the works going on, I was thoroughly unsurprised not to see this animal, but they gave us a free return ticket for after the diggers have moved out of the entrance areas so I daresay I'll be back in the summer (wanted to come in the winter for the waterfowl - wild and captive!).
