The wolves of Bioparco came from a 'lager' in Croatia.They were originally five brothers born in 2000 from another Croatian zoo. Now they are just two,the other three died of cancer.

Maguari 7 Jan 2011 Sad to hear that. I notice Zootierliste has them (cautiously) listed as Canis lupus kurjak on the grounds of their Balkan origin.
