seeing some new photos of Wilhelma prompted me to dig this one out from my recent visit. I was really disappointed by the zoo: this was my first visit for almost ten years, and I thought ti was looking shabby and unkempt. This sign - on the horrible drill cage - exemplified this. In the era of easy word processing and laminating, is there any excuse for this sort of thing? It's just awful, really. It doesn't even have any nice retro charm.
