This is my fantasy zoo.
My zoo is based on a piece of land to the rear of my house it as large flat areas and slight inclines and declines in some areas there are also some natural ponds these I have used for the Seals & Penguins
Each enclosure will have a area or a small cabin for photographs to use they will get a access card from reception booked in advance within these cabins or areas will be circular openings in to which they can place there lenses so making sure they have no interference from the enclosure for the taking of photographs. This will be done at own risk
There is also a safari walk over this is a raised level that goes over some of the enclosures (42, 44, 45, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53 & 54) there are no bars and no glass it’s a raised level with gaps in the wooden floor in the gaps there is strengthened glass so you can see directly in to the enclosure. An access card will be purchased in advanced for the use to get on to the raised area’s (All proceeds going to the local animal charities)
There are several cafes selling sandwiches, cakes, ice cream, hot dogs, burgers, tea, coffee & pop.
The toilet blocks around site are all placed close to cafes (please note the cafe and toilet block are on a raised platform in enclosure number 37)
There is some additional land behind enclosures 23, 24 & 25 this is for the animal hospital which will be used by both the zoo and the general public.
The car park which is in front of the entrance area will host a farmers market the first Saturday of every month. A car boot the second Saturday. Outside animal displays the third Saturday (All these additional entertainments will be done on a part of the car park to the rear and all proceeds will again go to local animal charities)
We will also send out free admission tickets to the local hospices for there patients and families this way we can help out the local community as well as advertising ourselves in the press.
Christmas day the Zoo will be closed to the general public. There will be no firework displays at the zoo as it is feared this may upset some of the animals
Fire escapes are around the edge of the zoo these are marked up with a (0)
