Fawn-breasted bowerbird (Chlamydera cerviniventris)

Really shy birds! They are at the moment kept in two aviaries outdoors next to eachother in the "Blick hinter die Kulissen" area.
I would recommend going there right when the park opens or around 1-2 hours before it's about to close, then it seems like the area is not as loud and crowded and the birds are not as shy. But you might have to stand for a while and wait for them to show themselfs :p

But it's worth it! Walsrode is the only zoo in Europe that keeps this species.
