review of my visit here: http://www.zoochat.com/238/ragunan-zoo-visit-27-september-2009-a-107542/
all babirusa in zoos are celebensis. The captive stock is horribly inbred, being derived from one male and two females collected by Surabaya Zoo in 1972 (two additonal juvenile males were collected at the same time but there are no records of those two having bred at the zoo).

Ragunan's original babirusa came from Surabaya in 1975.
