Female black honeyeater.

This species mainly likes to be found in wooded areas, particularly around Eremophila plants. This species eats nectar by curving its bill to touch the base of the flower. Was there any other members of this species around, they typically like to forage alone but will feed together.
 
@CheeseChameleon2007 Only saw this one. Been trying to get a decent shot of a male, so far without success. Not many birds to be seen right now, in the dry regions of NW NSW, probably due to recent severe droughts. In fact there was very little wildlife to be seen, even kangaroos and emus were few and far between.
