A neighbor in my old Los Angeles neighborhood, had an entire flock of pigeons with similar pink markings. As they were perched on a telephone wire I was astounded by their vivid pink feathers and called my wife and two sons out to see them, at least a dozen. Is it a dye or some color pigmentation? Those had much more pink coloration than the individual shown here. They didn't appear dyed.
