Sorry for commenting on all of these photos now but I'm just so excited after going last week. I loved this island for siamangs and adjoining island for white-cheeked gibbons. The active family of siamangs and the even livelier pair of gibbons mean that so many people stay and watch for ages. It's also really educational because I heard people reading the signs to find out the difference between the two. A father telling his daughter that "this is called a siamang. It looks like a chimpanzee, doesn't it?" is a lot better than "maybe they're black orang-utans?" like I've heard at Melbourne Zoo.
